How You Can Contribute to Soul Space
We welcome support in many ways, including offerings financial support, gifts for frontline workers, or sharing of your skills and abilities.
1. Make a financial donation to support Soul Space programs for street health and harm reduction workers
Financial donations are always needed and welcome in order to support frontline workers' participation in Soul Space offerings at no cost to them. Your financial contribution is tax-deductible and can be a one-time or ongoing pledge of support.
E-transfer donations are preferred (as 100% of contributions go directly to programs to support frontline workers), and can be sent to: treasurer@firstunitedchurchottawa.org (please include the designation "Soul Space"). No password is necessary - the deposit goes directly into the account.
Acknowledgement of donations will be made and tax-receipts issued in January. Cheques, made out to First United Church, with a cover note indicating the donation is for Soul Space can be mailed to: First United Church, 347 Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K2A 0E7.

Many thanks are owed to so many past and present supporters of Soul Space!
Soul Space offerings would not be possible without the generosity of many organizations and individuals to support the development of Soul Space and to provide offerings and retreats to frontline street health and harm reduction workers at little to no cost.
We are grateful for grant funds received from the United Church of Canada (via First United Church, EDGE Network, and the Eastern Ontario Outaouais Regional Council). Soul Space is overseen by a Steering Committee appointed by the Church Council of First United, a committee that provides program oversight as well as duty of care and financial accountability. 100% of all donations directed to Soul Space are used for the programming of Soul Space.

We acknowledge that we do our work on the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People, who have lived on this land since time immemorial. We commit to honouring an approach of cultural humility and recognize that reconciliation and decolonization are not metaphors, but actions that require an ongoing and unwavering commitment to social justice and equity.
